Pete Trerice



Pete Trerice is an energetic 27-year-old technology guru with 11 years of experience in the Information Technology world.

 

Pete was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska; his parents, Dan and Jan, along with his sister, Kate, are still residents of the fine city.  Pete attended Omaha Central High School graduating in 2000.  Pete has an Associate's Degree in Computer Sciences from Metropolitan Community College and a Bachelor's of Science from Bellevue University.  The Applied Information Management (AIM) Institute currently employs Pete as a Systems Engineer; Pete has been with AIM full time for five years, and previously as an intern for four years.

Pete serves on the Omaha Linux Users Group (OLUG) officer board as the Director of Operations.  Pete has worked with the OLUG since 2000.  In 2005, Pete started the Greater Nebraska Macintosh Users Group (GNMUG); Pete started the group using the same principles of the OLUG, have an impactful meeting while creating a community of learning and resources for all users.
